DUBAI CREEK HARBOUR
About DUBAI CREEK HARBOUR
Dubai Creek Harbour is a vibrant waterfront community situated along the banks of Dubai Creek. Developed by Emaar Properties, this mixed-use community features sea views, resorts, a yacht club and marina, retail spaces, and entertainment facilities.
Initially launched in 2006 as “Lagoons” by Sama Developments, the project was halted in 2009 due to the financial crisis. The original plan covered an area of 70 million sq. ft and was estimated to cost USD 18 billion. In 2013, Emaar revitalized the project with a new masterplan that included the Dubai Twin Towers and six residential buildings called Dubai Creek Residences. However, by 2016, the twin towers were modified to a single structure.
Now at the heart of the development, designed by neo-futuristic architect Santiago Calatrava, is the Dubai Creek Tower, set to surpass the Burj Khalifa in height.
Dubai Creek Harbour is a sustainable, easily accessible development, consisting of several interconnected yet distinct sub-communities such as Creek Beach, Dubai Square, and The Island District. Each sub-community hosts a variety of residential options, including Creek Palace, VIDA Residence Creek Beach, The Grand, and The Cove.
